The Makita DLM462 36V (Twin 18V) LXT Brushless 46cm Self Propelled Lawn Mower is an incredibly impressive mower that delivers exceptional results.
Powered by two LXT batteries working in series (although you can put in four batteries in one go), the mower is ideal for gardens that measure up to 1900 m².  It features a robust steel cutting deck with a 46cm cutting width.
The self-propelled mower produces a maximum speed of up to 5km/h as well as offering a choice of 10 cutting heights from 20 – 100mm.
Cleverly, the DLM462 includes Maktia’s Soft No Load control when in Automatic.  This when the mower speed automatically increases when it meets resistance when cutting.  It also reduces the vibration felt when the machine is on, but not being used.
It has a 60L collection capacity along with IPX4 showerproof construction. During mowing, the fan disc under the mowing deck ensures good air circulation, which ensures that the grass ends up neatly in the collection box.  A battery protection circuit protects against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating.
At the heart of this mower is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently.  As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
